Marriage Requirements
To get married in Mexico, you will need your passport as well as birth certificates and a tourist permit. Divorce and death decrees are required if applicable. In addition, you will need chest x-rays and blood tests. These scans and tests have to be done in Mexico, so make your travel arrangements accordingly. At the legal ceremony, you will also need 4 witnesses with proper identification. As of 2015, Same-Sex Marriages are welcome in Mexico! In Mexico, you will have an option between a civil or religious ceremony, the choice is up to you!

To travel in Mexico, you will need your passport as well as a tourist permit (Airline will supply on the flight). Make sure to advise your country’s travel information website for more information and possibly other travel documents. The official language of Mexico is Spanish, however, all resorts and tourist intensive areas speak English. The official currency of Mexico is the Mexican Peso, however, USD is accepted across the country.

Cancun is one of the most popular spots for spring breakers, so be aware of dates if you would like to avoid the party, or experience the craziness around February and March!
